KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kenneth Walker rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns, and the Chiefs stayed perfect with a 22-6 win over the Chargers on Sunday that left Los Angeles without a victory through six games and its coach promising a full review during the bye week.

Jim Harbaugh said after the loss that every part of the operation is under evaluation, starting with his own work and including the offense run by coordinator Mike McDaniel. Asked directly whether McDaniel will keep calling plays, Harbaugh did not commit either way.

The six points were a season low for a unit that came into the year with lofty expectations. Los Angeles averages 15 points a game, ranks last in the league in expected points added per play and has been dogged by penalties and mistakes week after week.

One sequence summed up the day. Trailing 19-3 at halftime, the Chargers hit their longest play of the season when Justin Herbert found Quentin Johnston for 57 yards to reach the Kansas City 1. A holding penalty pushed them back to the 11, a shovel pass lost a yard, two throws fell incomplete, and they settled for a 30-yard field goal. Late in the game they reached inside the 10 and turned it over on downs.

Herbert finished with 204 passing yards and threw his eighth interception of the season, the most in the league, to Jack Cochrane. The Chargers managed 259 total yards while playing without offensive linemen Joe Alt and Kayode Awosika and receiver Tre' Harris, and they lost Ladd McConkey to a concussion in the second quarter.

Walker, the league's rushing leader and Kansas City's top free-agent addition, broke a 33-yard scoring run and added a 2-yard plunge before the break. Patrick Mahomes threw for 272 yards in the 100th win of his career, Xavier Worthy caught seven passes for 73 yards and Travis Kelce had five catches for 53. Harrison Butker missed an extra point and a field goal.

The Chiefs joined San Francisco and Minnesota as the only unbeaten teams. The Chargers, coming off back-to-back 11-win seasons, are off to their worst start since 2000; Miami, at 0-5, is the only other winless club. Los Angeles returns Nov. 1 against the Rams at SoFi Stadium.
