POWELLS POINT, N.C. — Georgetown’s men’s golf team wraps up its fall season this week on the Outer Banks, starting play Sunday, Oct. 25, at Kilmarlic Golf Club in Powells Point, N.C., in the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate.

Old Dominion hosts the three-day, 54-hole stroke-play event, which runs through Tuesday, Oct. 27. Kilmarlic will play to a par of 71 at 6,578 yards. Players go off from 8:30 a.m. to 10:36 a.m. on each of the first two days, with an 8 a.m. start for Tuesday’s closing round.

Senior Barnes Blake plays in the No. 1 spot for the Hoyas, followed by Carson Erick, George McGlinn, Alan Rose and Zander Maloy. Drew Schauenberg is entered as an individual. The field includes Drake, East Carolina, James Madison, Old Dominion, William & Mary and Duke individuals, among others.

Blake comes in playing well. He finished fourth at six under par at the Ironwood Collegiate Classic in Greenville, N.C., in late September, where his second-round 66 was the low round of the tournament. Georgetown took second there behind East Carolina after shooting 12-under 276 as a team in round two.
