MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — The New England Patriots head south for a second road game in a row Sunday, taking on the Miami Dolphins at 4:15 p.m. Eastern with a chance to stay unbeaten inside the AFC East.

New England already owns division wins this fall, 29-26 at Buffalo on Oct. 4 and 26-19 at home over the New York Jets on Oct. 18. A victory in Miami would make it 3-0 against division foes and extend a run of three straight wins over the Dolphins. The Patriots swept Miami last season, 33-27 on the road in September and 38-10 at home in the January finale.

The biggest question for New England is receiver A.J. Brown, the offseason trade pickup from Philadelphia. He was limited by an ankle injury Wednesday, then sat out Thursday with a knee problem added to the list, which makes his status for Sunday shaky until the final injury report comes out Friday.

Miami has its own lineup issues. Rookie guard Kadyn Proctor missed a second straight practice with a concussion and still has steps left in the league return protocol, so backup Jarrett Kingston has been taking his snaps at left guard. Cornerback JuJu Brents, also coming back from a concussion, returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday.

Quarterback Malik Willis is listed with a groin injury but practiced fully.

History has not favored New England on the road in this series. The Patriots lead 39-21 in home games against Miami but are 18-43 when the game is played in South Florida.

The teams meet again at Gillette Stadium in the regular-season finale, a date not yet set.
