NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Titans will have one starting safety back and another missing when they visit the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, still hunting for their first victory of 2026.
Amani Hooker is cleared to play after finishing the final step of concussion protocol, an independent doctor visit Friday. He sat out last week's 26-3 loss to Houston. Kevin Winston Jr., the other safety, is ruled out with a quad injury picked up against the Texans, so veteran Tony Adams, who filled in for Hooker last week, is expected to shift into Winston's spot.
Defensive lineman Jordan Elliott is also out for personal reasons and will not make the trip. Running back Tyjae Spears returned to practice Friday with a knee issue and is questionable, though he has played in every game this season.
Cornerback Joshua Williams is the other question mark. His three-week practice window opened last week, and the club must activate him from injured reserve before he can play. Coach Robert Saleh said Williams is trending the right way but that his status depends on how Friday's practice graded out.
Several others carried no game designation after practicing all week, including cornerbacks Cor'Dale Flott and Marcus Harris, defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers, tight end David Martin-Robinson and running back Tony Pollard.
Indianapolis has its own holes, with linebacker Jaylon Carlies and receiver Ashton Dulin out and tight ends Tyler Warren and Will Mallory questionable. Tennessee has not beaten the Colts since 2022. The Titans hold a walkthrough Saturday before flying out, and kickoff at Lucas Oil Stadium is set for noon Central time.
