ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Three weekends into the college hockey season, a handful of NHL draft picks are already filling the scoresheet, led by Michigan center Michael Hage and Quinnipiac winger Ethan Wyttenbach.

Hage, a Montreal Canadiens pick who chose another year in Ann Arbor over turning pro, has 14 points in six games for a Michigan team that is still unbeaten. He opened with seven points against Bowling Green, and his two assists at Denver on Saturday made him the 94th Wolverine to reach 100 career points, a mark he hit in his 78th game with 29 goals and 71 assists.

Michigan swept the top-ranked Pioneers on the road, its first two-game sweep in Denver since November 1976, and is 6-0 for the second straight season for the first time in program history.

Teammate Jayden Perron, a Carolina Hurricanes prospect, has been just as hot with 15 points in six games, after posting 41 as a junior. His goal Saturday was his ninth of the season and stretched his goal streak to eight games dating to last year. Sophomore defenseman Drew Schock, an Anaheim Ducks pick who managed 10 points as a freshman, has a point in every game.

At Quinnipiac, the Calgary Flames prospect Wyttenbach has 11 points through five games after a 59-point freshman season, and Boston Bruins pick Elliott Groenewold is handling big minutes on the blue line behind him.

In goal, Boston University's Mikhail Yegorov, a New Jersey Devils prospect, is 3-1 with four goals allowed, while Montreal pick Quentin Miller is 4-0 with a .976 save percentage after moving from Denver to Western Michigan.

Early schedules have padded some totals, and tougher competition is ahead. Michigan hosts Western Michigan on Friday in a matchup of top-five teams.
