Wisconsin Dells, renowned as the “Waterpark Capital of the World,” is preparing for its newest addition to its tourism landscape with the upcoming Dellshire Resort, which is slated to open in spring 2026. This development marks the first new resort in the area in several decades and is expected to significantly impact local hospitality and entertainment options.
The project reached a key construction milestone recently with a topping off ceremony, symbolizing the completion of the building’s structure. The resort’s construction is currently underway across a 48-acre site located at 2255-2325 Wisconsin Dells Parkway. The development is managed by Uphoff Ventures, based in Virginia, with construction supervision provided by Kraemer Brothers, a Wisconsin-based firm from Plain.
The planned resort will include a four-story luxury-themed hotel featuring 208 rooms, including nine suites. It will offer a variety of amenities tailored for families, leisure, and business travelers. Guests can enjoy six indoor and outdoor pools, a unique 60-foot fire-breathing dragon attraction, and an augmented reality experience designed to entertain visitors of all ages.
In addition to accommodations and pools, the resort will house two on-site restaurants capable of seating up to 350 guests, along with bars, retail shops, and a meeting space accommodating up to 280 guests. A family entertainment center spanning 9,000 square feet is planned, featuring amusement rides to enhance guest experiences. For scenic views and relaxation, a tree canopy walk will provide panoramic views of the surrounding area.
The project’s construction financing is managed by JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group, with funding secured through a private lender and a Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) lender. This financial approach aims to support sustainable development and energy efficiency.
The location of the resort is strategic, situated near major cities like Chicago and Minneapolis, which are expected to generate steady visitor traffic. It aims to fill a< Launch>market gap for family-oriented accommodations targeting both leisure and business travelers.
Construction is currently progressing toward completion expected in the second quarter of 2026. Once operational, the Dellshire Resort is poised to enhance Wisconsin Dells’ reputation as a premier tourist destination, capitalizing on the region’s similar attractions and drawing an estimated 5.5 million visitors annually.
The development of Dellshire Resort signals a significant investment in the area’s hospitality industry, promising new entertainment options and accommodations for visitors, while also creating numerous job opportunities for local residents.
