The driver of the vehicle was present at the scene and is cooperating fully with police investigators. No charges have been filed against the driver at this stage of the investigation.
Traffic in the area was already restricted at the time of the accident, with Bristol Street limited to one lane in each direction. To aid in traffic management, portable flagging stations were in use, helping direct vehicles safely through the construction zone.

In response to the incident, a crash reconstruction team has been dispatched to the scene to conduct a thorough investigation. The team is working to determine the exact circumstances that led to the workers being struck by the vehicle.
As part of the investigation, officials requested a drone to assist in capturing detailed footage and additional evidence of the accident scene. This technology will aid investigators in analyzing the incident from multiple perspectives and gathering comprehensive data.
The construction project on Bristol Street has been ongoing for several weeks, aimed at improving the roadway and infrastructure. During this period, traffic control measures such as lane restrictions and flagging stations have been put in place to ensure safety for both workers and drivers.
