The All-Star festivities will span several days, beginning with preliminary competitions and fan events. On July 18, 2025, fans can look forward to the 3-point contest and skills challenge, both scheduled to start at 8 p.m. ET. These events will be broadcast live on ESPN. The All-Star Game itself will be held the following day, commencing at 8:30 p.m. ET. The game will be televised nationally on ABC, allowing fans across the country to tune in and witness the best players in the league compete.
Team captains for the All-Star Game were announced on June 30, with Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever and Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx named to lead the respective teams. Clark, who received over 1.29 million votes, and Collier, with more than 1.17 million votes, were chosen based on fan voting and performance.
The rosters for both teams were revealed on July 8. Clark’s team was selected by her as the first pick, choosing fellow Indiana Fever teammate Aliyah Boston. Collier’s team selected Breanna Stewart as the second pick. Final roster assignments reflect strategic decisions by the captains to build competitive lineups.
The coaching staff for Clark’s team will be led by Sandy Brondello and her staff from the New York Liberty.
