San Diego, California — AmateurGolf.com has announced the opening of registration for the upcoming Two-Man Links and Father-Son Championship scheduled to take place from December 16 to December 19, 2025. The prestigious event will be held at the renowned Torrey Pines Golf Course, offering a unique and memorable experience for amateur golfers of all levels.
The tournament is a 54-hole best-ball competition, emphasizing friendly rivalry and camaraderie among participants. It is open to all two-person teams, including friends, family members, and father-son duos. The event features divisions in gross and net categories, with a dedicated Father-Son Championship to celebrate family bonds and shared love of golf.
Players will compete across three different rounds, with each round hosted at a distinguished course:
The tournament offers a 54-hole best-ball scoring system, with net play calculated at 80% of each player’s course handicap, with a maximum allowance of 18 for individual players. Teams are asked to keep a maximum combined handicap of 36.0.
Participants will enjoy three nights of accommodations at The Lodge at Torrey Pines, a five-diamond resort, included in the registration fee. For those who prefer not to stay overnight, a commuter rate is available.
Prize money and gifts total $15,000, with awards given to division winners and top finishers. All players will receive welcome gifts, and tournament prizes will recognize low gross and low net scores in various categories, including Father & Son teams and open teams. Special recognition is planned for senior teams (both players aged 50 and over).
