Indianapolis has been announced as the host city for the WNBA All-Star Game. The event promises a weekend filled with activities, including a 3-point contest, skills challenge, and a fan festival with live performances. Captains Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier will lead the teams, featuring unique uniforms for the game. Additional community events and a symposium on women’s leadership will highlight the weekend, showcasing the city’s commitment to women’s professional sports and fan engagement.
Indianapolis will serve as the host city for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game, marking the first time the city has hosted this midseason showcase event. The game is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the home of the Indiana Fever. Fans can watch the game live at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
In addition to the main event, the weekend will feature several exciting activities and competitions. On July 18, 2025, starting at 8 p.m. ET, fans can enjoy the 3-point contest and skills challenge broadcast on ESPN. The WNBA also will host its annual WNBA Live event, now in its fourth year, at the Indiana Convention Center, offering interactive experiences for fans on July 18 and 19, including games, exhibits, and meet-and-greet opportunities.
The All-Star teams are led by captains Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever and Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx. Clark ably secured 1,293,526 fan votes, while Collier garnered 1,176,020 votes. The team rosters were announced on July 8, 2025.
Following their selection, Clark and Collier made strategic decisions, including one trade and exchanging head coaches for their respective teams. Sandy Brondello and her staff from the New York Liberty will coach Team Clark, with Clark herself selecting her team members. Conversely, Cheryl Reeve and her coaching staff from the Milwaukee Lynx will lead Team Collier, with Collier choosing her teammates.
For the game, Team Clark will wear gradient uniforms, while Team Collier will be dressed in black uniforms. All-Star players will showcase the latest in WNBA apparel, emphasizing team identities and fan engagement.
One of the highlights of the All-Star weekend is the inaugural Fever Fest, scheduled for July 19, 2025. Hosted at the Everwise Amphitheater, the event will feature over three hours of live performances, including artists and performers such as The Kid LAROI, Cedric the Entertainer, Leslie Jones, Aida Rodriguez, G-Eazy, BIA, and 803Fresh. The event will be hosted by comedian Deon Cole and promises a lively, family-friendly atmosphere.
Following Fever Fest, fans are encouraged to stay for an All-Star watch party, starting at 8:30 p.m., allowing attendees to view the game in a festive environment.
An additional WISE-er Symposium will be held on July 18, focusing on mentorship, professional development, and women’s leadership, with Candace Parker serving as the keynote speaker. There will also be various arts and cultural activities throughout the weekend, including a fan zone with interactive exhibits, clinics led by former players, and kid-friendly activities to engage families and the community.
Throughout the weekend, the city will host numerous activities aimed at community involvement, such as a dribble event leading to the fan fest, arts and crafts stations, and family-oriented events designed to encourage participation from fans of all ages. The events aim to bring fans closer to professional basketball while celebrating the sport’s growth and diversity within Indianapolis.
