WASHINGTON, D.C. — Washington pro volleyball fans now have dates on the calendar. DC Flight, the expansion club joining Major League Volleyball, released its 2027 schedule on Friday, Oct. 30.
The team serves for the first time on the road on Saturday, Jan. 9, at Columbus. Six days later, on Friday, Jan. 15, the Vegas Thrill visit for the home opener at The Anthem on the Southwest Waterfront, where the court is laid right over the concert floor.
DC Flight splits its 26 matches evenly, 13 at home and 13 away. A busy February stretch brings four home dates in 12 days from Feb. 3 to 14, with Orlando, NorCal, Indy and Dallas coming to town. Two home dates line up with the Capitol Hill Volleyball Classic, a youth event that draws close to 14,000 players to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
Atlanta closes the home slate on Wednesday, April 21, and DC Flight wraps up its first year two days later at NorCal.
The league itself is growing to 12 teams in its fourth season, split into two six-team conferences for the first time, with 156 regular-season matches. Match times will be released later, and the league draft is set for Nov. 23.
