He got going on the first drive with four carries for 13 yards and added 30 yards on six carries to open the second half, when Las Vegas rallied from a nine-point hole.

Head coach Klint Kubiak credited the rookie’s steady practice habits and attention to his assignments, calling his growth a process that has paid off.

The win ended a four-game losing streak and evened the Raiders at 4-4. Dylan Laube returned a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown, Matt Gay made it a five-point game with a 53-yarder at the 4:04 mark, and safety Jeremy Chinn sealed it with an end-zone interception with seven seconds to go.

Fan voting runs on the league’s Instagram and X accounts until 8 a.m. Pacific on Thursday, and the winner will be named Thursday on those platforms.
